Rumley Clover Huller

Rumley Clover Huller – This mechanical marvel was a prelude to today’s sophisticated harvesting machines. Using a myriad of belts and pulleys, this huller separates the seed from the rest of the plant. Donated to the Wayne County Historical Society in 1960 by Nannie Conn, wife of local John Deere dealer, Roy Conn, this huge machine was displayed as an antique at the Wayne County Fair for many years. It can be found on display in the lower level of the Kister Building with hundreds of other agricultural marvels used by our Wayne County ancestors.
