Mary Owens, of Pennsylvania, disguised herself as a man and joined the Union Army so she could fight in the Civil War beside her lover, William Evans. Come to hear this story of bravery and secrecy.

This program is presented in observation of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, andWomen’s History Month.
