CWRT October 20th: Why Does The Civil War Continue To Live?

CWRT David ShawPlease join us for another of our quality installments of the Civil War Roundtable brought to you by the Wayne County Historical Society and the Wayne County Public Library. Our next program will be Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 6:30 p.m.in the Wooster Library Conference Room, 220 West Liberty Street, Wooster. We are honored to have Mr. David Shaw from Columbus, Ohio speak on”Why Does The Civil War Continue To Live?” or “How the Civil War still influences us 150 years later!”.

This topic, which is especially relevant today, is from an original presentation by Dr. James I. Robertson (with permission) who used the lecture as a basis for one of the Civil War courses he taught at Virginia Tech.  Shaw is a Civil War Re-enactor, currently portraying Rutherford B. Hayes, and has studied the Civil War for 55 years.

You are sure to appreciate this program!
