Tour Our Sites

We invite you to tour our grounds and enjoy the fascinating history of Wayne County. Our large campus offers an exciting glance back in time with tours of historic buildings containing local artifacts, including an 1873 one-room schoolhouse and the General Mercantile Store and ladies dress shop. Fire House Relief Co, No. 4 is a replica of a 1800s firehouse complete with antique and vintage fire trucks and firefighting equipment. The Kister Building contains a formal gallery of rotating exhibits, horse-drawn carriages, Native American artifacts, an extensive military collection, farm equipment and a research library. The Beall House, built in 1824 and once home to War of 1812 General Reasin Beall is undergoing extensive renovation and is also available to tour.
