This Saturday, September 15, 2012, theWinesburg Historical Society,located at2119 Main Street in Winesburg, Ohio, will be open for free tours, during Winesburg’s Fall Gathering. Enjoy touring an 1896 Victorian Home, marvel over beautifully-restored vintage bicycles, splurge on ham and bean soup cooked over an open fire, delight in all the music, activities, and antique shopping, and tour through a log cabin and one-room schoolhouse. Most historic buildings will open at 8:30 a.m.
This is the first weekend of the “Sharing Our History Tour”, offered by local historical societies. Next weekend, Orrville museums will take center stage.
