Recently, the Textile Committee lost another one of its original members Treva McConahay.floral_3

Treva worked tirelessly cataloging textiles that were stored throughout the Beall House in closets, trunks and dressers. She and her sister Ruth both devoted hours upon hours to the Wayne Co. Historical Society in different capacities. Treva was a very quiet and private person, but she did have a sense of humor once she got to know you. I am glad to say that she was a friend and dedicated volunteer.

She and Ruth are now gone but not forgotten.

The Textile Committee members: Allyson Leisy, chair; Julie Mennes; Mary Eberhart; Ginny Gunn
