The “From Italy to Wooster, OH” is sharing the Big Display room with “Friendtique/Nest” (Friends of Hospice). The Italian display will feature families and the cities they are from. The military committee is adding to the display with the Italians that were in service. (This display contains only what the Historical Society has in our archives.) Friendtique/Nest is celebrating 20 years in Wooster.

The Rotary display is along the wall as you walk into the Kister building containing some of the history of the Wooster Rotary flowing into information on the current Wooster Rotary.
The Military committee’s display focuses on Cliff Matz, A Highflyer. On loan from the Matz family is Cliff’s aviation simulator and other aviation items. In WWII Cliff instructed Army and Navy pilots in their flight training.

The “Amazing Compton Family” will be on display in our permanent collection area. This display began in August of 2024 and by popular demand is staying up until December 2025.
Our Dress Shop’s display will be “Connected by Design, A Tribute to Dr. Virginia Gunn”. To any of us who have attended a Mother/Daughter program and were lucky enough to have Dr.
Virginia Gunn speak, will appreciate this display.
