WAYNE COUNTY CIVIL WAR ROUND TABLE PROGRAM
Tuesday, September 17, at6:30 p.m.in the Wayne County Library Conference Room in Wooster.
Rick and Pam Tenan from Tallmadge, Ohio, will portray Jack and Elisabeth Hinson, a couple living in Tennessee during the horrible Civil War. They were desperate to remain neutral and helped the military on both sides with aid and information. Then, without warning, the war converted Jack into an instrument of cold and calculating vengeance against the Union!
Come find out what happened at the Bubbling Springs plantation and why Jack spent much of the war as a hunted man bearing a military bounty. Rick and Pam recently visited Dover, Tennessee, and the surrounding area, and saw the remnants of the plantation and the various places where horrible things happened to the Hinson family.
Looking ahead, you will not want to miss theOct. 15program with Bill Comisford from Sunbury, Ohio speaking on the Civil War Cavalry.
