This website was created by the 2019 Wooster Digital History Project team, Spencer Gaitsch and Tyler Iversen. The project was directed by Dr. Jordan Biro Walters and graduate fellow Abigail Blinka with digital assistance by educational technology associate Megan Smeznik.

The Wooster Digital History Project (WDHP), conceptualized by Dr. Katie Holt and Dr. Greg Shaya, explores the community history of Wooster and its environs. In order to develop and share digital resources, WDHP relies on collaborating with local institutions, experts, and residents to include their voices in telling the local history of Wooster and surrounding areas. WDHP’s home base is an interactive site  http://woosterhistory.org where visitors can find local history exhibitions, oral histories, walking tours, and maps. Additionally, WDPH serves the Wooster community through local outreach. WDHP has built partnerships with the Wayne County Historical Society, the Buckeye Agricultural Museum, and the Wayne County Public Library’s Genealogy Division. In the summer of 2019 student researchers assisted the Wayne County Historical Society with updating their website and developing a plan for their social media.
