The Wayne County Civil War Roundtable will offer a free program on Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the Wooster branch of the Wayne County Public Library. Charles Lepold will present “Wayne County at the Battle of Spotsylvania Courthouse” as told in the year 1900 by Capt. Robert E. Eddy of the 60th Ohio Volunteer Infantry.

Lepold served for 21 years in the U.S. Army, both active duty and reserve, serves on the board of the Wayne County Civil War Roundtable, and chairs the military committee of the Wayne County Historical Society

Due to high levels of community spread of Covid-19 in Wayne County, attendance at this event will be limited to 50 to allow seating to be spaced, and face masks and advance registration will be required. To register, call the library at 330.804.4666, or email ref-staff@wcpl.info.
